Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen exchanged vows in a short sunset ceremony at her home in Costa Rica early Saturday evening.

The bride, in a long designer dress and a veil that trailed 10 feet, and holding a bouquet of white orchids, “looked so gorgeous,” a source tells People.  “She looked beautiful.”

Security guards blocked off key access points to Bündchen’s house in Santa Teresa, where 25 or so guests gathered under a tent set up on the home’s balcony.

After the ceremony, Brady, 31, in a gray suit and vest with white pants, held his 1 ½-year-old son John on the balcony and spoke with guests like Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots. Bündchen, 28, also hugged guests while friends and relatives snapped photos.

They all seemed “very happy, like they were having a great time,” says one onlooker.

That afternoon, Bündchen got dressed at the nearby Hotel Flor Blanca while workers readied her home.

At just over 2 weeks old, Max Sheen is already in the spotlight as questions swirl about why he has yet to leave the L.A. hospital where he was born – along with his brother Bob – on March 14.

“Charlie and Brooke’s infant son Max remains in the hospital, not because of a heart condition as reported, but because he has not gained the weight necessary to leave the hospital,” Sheen’s publicist, Stan Rosenfield, says in a statement. “Max is expected to reach the weight requirement shortly and will join his brother at home.”

Proud papa Sheen jokes that his son is suffering from a common affliction: aversion to hospital food.

It seems Britney Spears’s life has gone from soap opera to spy novel.

Sam Lutfi’s younger sister Christina testified in a Los Angeles court Wednesday that she recently snuck a cell phone to the pop star at a Beverly Hills hotel – a plan allegedly hatched by Spears herself.

Spears, 27, whose phone access is strictly limited by her father Jamie, had initially called Sam’s cell phone number in mid-January to speak with Christina.

“[Britney] told me she wanted to get a hold of Sam,” said Christina, 25, whose brother had once been Spears’s manager. “She wanted him to help her find a lawyer, and wanted someone to get a prepaid cell phone to her. She was scared because her father was blackmailing her with visitation rights over her kids.”

British newcomer Jamie Campbell-Bower is the latest star set to vamp it up in the Twilight sequel New Moon.

The 20-year-old actor – whose previous screen credits include RocknRolla and SweeneyTodd– confirmed to BBC News that he will play immortal villain Caius, leader of the Volturi vampire clan. He joins Dakota Fanning, who will portray the Volturi’s angel-faced minion Jane.

Though Campbell-Bower said taking part in the vampire series is “very exciting,” he claims he is no match for sexy leading man Robert Pattinson. “I doubt I’ll get the same sort of adulation as Robert – but it’s always nice when people recognize you for your work,” he told BBC News.
Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will reprise their roles in New Moon, which began filming this month and is set to open on Nov. 20, 2009. The third film in the series, Eclipse, will arrive June 30, 2010.
